Jollibee Canada signs first multi-unit franchise deal in British Columbia
The deal calls for the development of 16 Jollibee restaurants over the next five years.
Jollibee Group’s North American franchisor, JBM LLC, has signed a multi-unit development agreement covering British Columbia, its first franchise agreement in the Canadian province.
Signed in July 2026 with a multi-brand food retail operator, the agreement calls for the development of 16 Jollibee restaurants in British Columbia over the next five years.
Jollibee currently operates four company-owned restaurants in the province.
The new agreement adds to a shift toward a mix of company-owned and franchised locations in Canada.
The British Columbia deal follows a separate agreement to develop 10 Jollibee restaurants in Edmonton.
Together, the two agreements cover 26 planned franchise locations, in addition to Jollibee’s 28 company-operated restaurants across Canada.
The company said it is also in discussions with potential franchisees in other Canadian provinces.
