Burger King continues to roll out its plant-based Whopper across Asia, now slated to arrive in its Japanese restaurants.
The new product consists of a grilled vegetable patty derived from soybeans, finished with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions with ketchup and mayonnaise, sandwiched in toasted sesame buns.
The item is available across its restaurants starting 11 December, the burger giant said.
Weeks ago, Burger King introduced a similar product in the Philippines and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
