Heytea debuts in Thailand with third overseas lab
Its design draws on Thailand's floating markets.
Heytea has opened its first Thailand store at CentralWorld in Bangkok—its first "heytea lab" in Southeast Asia and its third outside China.
The store houses a tea lab, a bake lab and a gelato lab under one roof, with open counters where staff prepare items in view.
According to the company, the Bangkok design draws on Thailand's floating markets, with a boat-inspired facade and riverbank-style seating.
The opening also marks the global debut of "teaAir", a tea cloud topping made from brewed tea, coconut, milk fat and air.
Heytea operates about 4,000 stores globally, including more than 120 outside mainland China.
The brand began expanding abroad in 2018 and has accelerated since 2023, entering the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
