Emil Fazira is a Senior Consultant at Euromonitor International, specialising in the Food & Nutrition vertical. She has a global focus on cooking ingredients and meals, specialising in the developments in the era of food on demand. Her focus areas include clean label and halal certification, particularly in the broader context of claims and labelling in food products. Emil has conducted market research across a range of industries, from commodities and fmcg to services, and has been with Euromonitor since 2014. She hails from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. 

Emil has been quoted widely in print during her tenure at Euromonitor International, including trade press, government agencies, and industry organisations; some examples include AFP, Bangkok Post, Future Ready Singapore, Pets International, Asia Pacific Baker, CNBC, and The Wall Street Journal. She was also invited to share her insights on food and the halal market through media recordings with Channel News Asia and Reuters. She also conducts webinars and workshops, and speaks at conferences across Asia Pacific, her most recent appearance as a moderator for the World Halal Business Conference organised by Malaysia’s Halal Development Corp (HDC).

Chris joined team Subway® in 2018 as Director of Operations, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role, with over 35 years’ experience in the QSR industry and previous senior management positions in Operations, Franchising, Development and Training.

Prior to joining Subway®, Chris worked for some of Australia’s most well-known brands including McDonalds, Retail Food Group, Gloria Jeans Coffees, Grill’d Healthy Burgers and Craveable Brands.

Along with his extensive QSR industry experience, Chris holds a Master of Marketing Degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Franchising Structure & Management and various Diplomas in Business, Retail and Training and Assessment.

As General Manager in Asia Pacific, Paul has worked with Fourth's customers for the last 8 years. His primary focus was customer satisfaction, retention, and growth while working with market leaders to understand trends and innovation to drive Fourth's future investment to continue to improve inventory and labour operational efficiency and reduce operating costs for its customers. Fourth is invested in the APAC region with teams and resources across the region to support all aspects of engagement from sales and marketing, implementations, and projects to support and account management.

Jia Ming graduated from the University of Glasgow in the UK with a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy with Finance with experience in accounting and banking prior to joining the family business. He has been at the helm of Golden Scoop Sdn Bhd, the master franchisee of Baskin Robbins for Malaysia and Singapore; as the Chief Executive Officer since 1 January 2018. The group now owns and operates more than 140 stores in both countries. 

A Gen-Y, he firmly believes disruption is the new norm, Jia Ming sees that digitalisation and modernisation for a traditional brick and mortar retail company are fundamental to the company's growth. Since taking over the leadership role in 2018, the company has undertaken transformation on various aspects from human capital and culture to front and back-end process digitalisation; which was key to the brands survival and further growth during the pandemic. Coming out of the pandemic, the brand continues to optimize its existing assets in both markets and is well-positioned for aggressive ''recovery-themed'' growth in 2022 & 2023. 

David Dawson has spent nine years as the Commercial Manager for Newly Weds Foods Thailand, one of the largest suppliers in the region of food ingredients. As an importer of raw materials and an exporter of finished goods, Newly Weds lives everyday with the complexities of logistics challenges and a business environment impacted by the volatility in agricultural commodities.

David has some twenty-two years experience working in Asia in a number of roles within the supply of food ingredients and within the QSR sector.

Along with his experience in Asia, David holds a B.Sc. From the University Of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and various diplomas in Business and Management.
