With academic credentials encompassing a business degree from INSEAD and an MSc from the National University of Singapore and TU Muenchen, His robust educational background fortifies his expertise in business and management.
Daniel Chan
He brings an illustrious career of more than 40 years in the F&B industry, 37 of it in the QSR industry. Throughout his career, he held pivotal roles across various departments, including Operations, Training, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Talent Management, Franchising, Field Service, Facilities and Special Projects. With a previous role as COO for Marrybrown in April 2018, he envisions a dynamic future as Marrybrown’s current CEO. His strategic goals include expanding Marrybrown’s presence across Malaysia, introducing innovative products, leveraging digitalisation for business optimisation, talent development, operations excellence, increasing market share and extending the brand’s footprint globally. A leader with a proven track record of innovation, strategic vision, and dedication to excellence, he continues to shape the future of Marrybrown and leave an indelible mark on the QSR industry.
Danny Lee
Danny has been in the F&B industry for over 30 years, with experience as an operator as well as an entrepreneur in all functions focusing on the Asia Pacific region for the last 16 years with global brands such as Papa John’s (pizza), Popeyes (chicken), Five Guys (burgers) and finally in beverages (Tea brand). Currently based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as Head of Global Supply Chain and CEO for Gongcha Asia Pacific including Australia and New Zealand.
Dawn Liew
She is the CEO of OldTown F&B Group comprising a staff size of over 700 employees spanning the range of skills from store level operations to management office to logistics and warehousing, and manufacturing. In 2018, OldTown was acquired by JDE Peets’, a Dutch multi-national and the largest pure play coffee and tea company in the world. As part of the OldTown management team, she has seen the company through a listing exercise, multiple international expansion into Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia and Cambodia, an acquisition and privatisation exercise coupled with an integration into a multi-national company. She was also paramount in beginning and continuing OldTown’s digitalization journey via social media, card payments, self-order kiosks, QR payments, digital AI menus, and delivery platforms.
Deric Yeo
Deric Yeo is the Chief Development Executive for Kopitiam Asia Pacific, the owner of Oldtown White Coffee. One of his primary responsibilities is overseeing the brand and marketing strategy for the company. He plays a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty. Deric works closely with the marketing team to ensure that all campaigns and promotions are aligned with the company's overall brand strategy. In addition to his brand and marketing responsibilities, Deric is also in charge of developing the people, menu, and business of the company. He serves as the key gatekeeper for Halal compliance of the group. Deric is an active contributor to the regional franchise industry, serving as the Secretary General of the Malaysia Franchise Association (2022-2024). He is a frequent speaker, panellist, and moderator at training and seminars provided by the MFA and international franchise communities. Deric is also the chairman of the Franchise Malaysia Exhibition (FIM). Furthermore, Deric has been appointed as the Chairman of the Nexus Productivity of Retail and Food & Beverages under Malaysia Productivity Board in the Ministry of International Trade from 2018-present. His international experience includes franchise brand development and consultancies across Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East.
Eric Foo
Appointed as President, Asia Pacific in January 2020, Eric leads the transformation journey for Subway in the region, including the brand’s solid recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. With a background in investment banking and management, Eric has been in the QSR industry for over 20 years, serving in regional senior leadership roles at Burger King, McDonalds, Dairy Queen International and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. A health and fitness enthusiast, Eric is committed to regular exercise and a balanced diet, with medium distance runs and Subway sandwiches at the heart of his routine.
Hendy Setiono
With his passion for entrepreneurship, he directs Baba Rafi Enterprise, a holding company consisting of various award-winning local food brands that have grown in both local and global scales. He won various awards in entrepreneurship such as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Winner of Asia's Top 10 Young Entrepreneur Award, and many more. This motivates him to build the Hendy Setiono Foundation as a medium for sharing with others.
Jay Lim
His journey kicked off in 2016 with the humble beginnings of a food truck operation right by the Han River in Seoul, Korea. Fast forward to today, and GOPIZZA boasts an impressive 200 outlets across seven countries and substantial funding of 50 million USD, firmly establishing itself as the most valuable Food & Beverage startup in South Korea. Jay's accomplishments have garnered recognition on a global scale. In 2019, Forbes Asia acknowledged his achievements by naming him one of the "30 Most Influential CEOs Under 30." The Financial Times recognized GOPIZZA as one of the rapidly emerging companies in the Asia Pacific region in 2021 and 2022. He was asked to join an economic delegation to the United States alongside the President of Korea in 2023. This remarkable experience led him to the President's Office, where he showcased GOPIZZA's innovative technology and personally served pizza to distinguished figures, including top conglomerate leaders and the President himself.
Jeremy Van Dille
Jeremy helped expand Deliverect globally by building the customer portfolio with multinational food chains such as Burger King, KFC, and more. He's been helping food chains increase their online sales revenue by advising them on the best solutions and operational technologies for their business. In pursuit of better helping and supporting customers in APAC, Jeremy became General Manager of Asia Pacific in 2021. He opened the Sydney office and grew the team from 2 to 30 in less than 2 years' time.
