Thai Beverage enters into purchase agreement with Yum Restaurants Thailand

It is for the potential acquisition of over 240 existing KFC stores in Thailand.

The QSR of Asia Co., Ltd. (QSA), subsidiary of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, has entered into an Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement with Yum Restaurants International to operate existing and developing KFC stores in Thailand.

The preliminary amount of the existing stores is around 11.3 billion baht, and the additional amount for the developing KFC stores will be determined at closing.

THBEV and its subsidiaries have reported their plan to expand further into the food business industry and capture the current lifestyle of consumers within the QSR segment.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of December 2017.
