Pezzo Pizza kicks off Saudi Arabia expansion with Jeddah debut
It’s collaborating with Al Hokair Group.
Singapore-grown pizza kiosk operator Pezzo Pizza (Pezzo) unveiled its maiden Saudi Arabia branch at Mall of Arabia, Jeddah.
According to the brand's media release, the Jeddah launch is only one of several Pezzo outlets planned to open across Saudi Arabia. This expansion is in collaboration with Al Hokair Group.
"The outlet at Mall of Arabia is designed to provide customers of Sparky’s Family Entertainment Centre with spacious sit-down facilities for a respite before heading out for more entertainment activities and rides. Customers can now enjoy piping hot Pezzo’s signature handcrafted pizza slices in the heart of Sparky’s entertainment centre," Pezzo stated.
"Following this landmark launch, Pezzo will continue its expansion and populate Sparky’s entertainment centres with more unique concept stores," it added.
Founded in November 2012, Pezzo operates 28 outlets in Singapore, with plans in the pipeline to expand to 35 outlets. In late 2014, Pezzo began regional franchising and licensing throughout Asia, with a target of 300 outlets in 5 years.
The Al Hokair Group's portfolio comprises 60 shopping malls and entertainment centres as well as 35 hotels in the Middle East and North Africa region. This includes the Sparky's brand, which has 32 centres across the Gulf Coast Countries.
