Chinese burger chain Bingz opens first North American restaurant

Chinese burger chain Bingz announced the opening of its first restaurant in North America, located in Toronto, Canada.
The concept, which is known for its signature “crispy burgers”, was founded by two Tencent software engineers in 2014. It has since opened 70 stores in Beijing and in other cities.
Bingz uses premium pork butt with 32 natural spices to create its signature pieces. Customers can choose a variety of proteins including black pepper beef and spicy cumin pork loin.
With a 400-guest daily limit, Bingz said the Toronto restaurant made Can$400,000 (approx. US$316,000) in its first month.
