BreadTalk makes its debut in India
This is the 18th country where the bakery chain opened an outlet.
BreadTalk has announced that they opened their first Indian store in Select Citywalk Mall, New Delhi after signing a franchise agreement with Som Datt Group, an India-based infrastructure and construction conglomerate.
The site features its classic offerings such as its Floss bun, Japan Light Cheesecake, Messy buns, Hokkaido Roll, Chilli Pepper Dog, Pumpkin Loaf, Singapore Curry Chicken Bun and Salted Egg Lava Croissant.
“When we bring BreadTalk into India, it’s more than just building a brand new bakery. What we are bringing into India is an excitement that will potentially redefine the bakery landscape in India,” Latika Abbott, CEO of BreadTalk India, said.
“Apart from familiar local flavours, we hope to give consumers in India accessibility to internationally trendy, innovative and original product offerings that are beyond the shores of India. I am really thrilled to bring a whole new bakery experience to India.”
