Burger King and McDonald's open at Maharashtra's first outlet mall
The two QSR giants are the first food operators at the newly launched Outlet Mall of India in Bhiwandi.
Burger King and McDonald's have opened drive-thru locations at the Outlet Mall of India in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, marking the first food and beverage operations at the shopping destination developed by Bhumi World.
The mall opened its first phase on 30 May. Located in Bhiwandi, it offers road access from Mumbai, Thane, and Nashik, positioning it as a regional retail and dining hub within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Prakash Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Bhumi World, said the opening reflects the company's vision of creating world-class retail and lifestyle destinations in Maharashtra, adding that the presence of Burger King and McDonald's at the drive-thru signals the beginning of a broader brand rollout at the property.
Bhumi World said the mall will expand to include a curated mix of international and domestic fashion, lifestyle, and leisure brands.
