Burger King eyes 1,000 new sites in China for the next three years

The burger chain sees growing potential of the foodservice and delivery sectors in the country.

Burger King China aims to open 1,000 new stores in three years, following the launch of their 1000th store last month in Shanghai.

According to China Daily, the move is driven by the country’s growing potential in the foodservice and delivery sectors.

Burger King is the latest of the global fast food chains to announce their massive expansion plan following Starbucks, Costa Coffee and McDonald’s.
