The Coffee Club to debut in Vietnam
The coffee chain has plans to open 100 stores in the country for the next five years.
The Coffee Club’s operator, Minor Food, has announced that they entered a joint venture agreement with the private equity firm Vietnam Investments Group to bring the coffee chain in Vietnam.
This will be Minor’s fourth brand for their portfolio in Vietnam, following the launch of The Pizza Company, Swensen’s and Thai Express. The Coffee Club has 400 outlets across Australia, New Zealand, Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates.
“This is a great step forward for The Coffee Club as it makes its first entry into Vietnam. With the flourishing coffee market and favorable macro trend, we are very optimistic about the opportunity to strengthen our presence in the country and grow The Coffee Club brand nationwide,” Paul Kenny, CEO of Minor Food, said.
“Together with VI Group’s proven experience and well-established platform in Vietnam, we are confident that we can replicate the same success of The Coffee Club in other markets.”
