FAT Brands to open six stores in Shanghai
The company has over 300 open locations globally.
FAT Brands is continuing its expansion in China, announcing that it will open six new co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express restaurants throughout Shanghai with Bloomfield Pty. Ltd.
“When expanding internationally, it’s important to identify a partner we can trust with our iconic brand. Markets such as Shanghai, where demand and crowds are large, magnifies this need even more,” FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said. “We’re thrilled to open more restaurants with the Bloomfield team. They’ve done an excellent job maintaining the integrity of our brand while providing a deep understanding of the Chinese consumer.”
FAT Brands currently operates multiple locations in both Beijing and Shanghai, part of over 300 open locations around the world. Recently, it announced the development of 60 new co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo's Express outlets throughout India.
Aside from the said brands, the company also owns Buffalo’s Cafe, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses.
