First Applebee's in India scheduled to open in late 2020
Additional openings are planned over the next seven years.
Dine Brands International announced that its first Applebee’s restaurant in India will be opening in late 2020.
The chain’s expansion will be done in partnership with Rohit Malhotra and Jayaprakash Mutharayappa, executives of Dine Brands International Franchisees.
The agreement also called for a minimum of nine more Applebee’s stores in the country over the next seven years.
“We are excited to open our first Applebee’s restaurant later this year in Bengaluru and believe India is an important growth market for Dine Brands,” CEO and international president Steve Joyce said in a statement.
