First Philippine location of Panda Express confirmed
The chain currently has over 2,000 locations worldwide.
The first Philippine branch of US-based Panda Express will be located at the SM Megamall in Pasig City, according to local partner Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC).
“Panda Express has successfully popularized American Chinese cuisine through authentic Chinese recipes adapted to global tastes, setting the brand up as the largest Asian dining concept in the US and the largest American Chinese concept in the world,” the fast food conglomerate said in a statement sent to local media.
Whilst no exact date has yet been set for when the store will open, JFC previously said in September 2018 that least five stores will be established in Metro Manila.
Known for its Original Orange Chicken, Sweetfire Chicken Breast, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Shanghai Angus Steak, Panda Express currently has over 2,000 locations.
Philippine operations of Panda Express are under a joint venture deal between Panda Restaurant Group Inc. and JFC.
