JFC expands China presence with 9th Tim Ho Wan store

The company plans to open 10 more in the market.

The Jollibee Group continued its expansion in China with the opening of its ninth Tim Ho Wan store in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

“Opening Tim Ho Wan in Hangzhou, one of China’s key cities, is instrumental to the expansion of the Tim Ho Wan brand and the growth of Jollibee Group in this part of the globe,” Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) China and Yonghe King President Louie Liu, said.

JFC opened its first Tim Ho Wan restaurant in Shanghai’s Jing’an District in September 2020. The Group plans to open 10 more this year and 100 in the next few years.

“We are excited to continue growing the Michelin-starred Tim Ho Wan in Mainland China,” Jollibee Group CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong, said.

“We are encouraged by the strong reception and continued patronage for our brands in this region.”

The Group currently has a network of 468 stores in China across its Tim Ho Wan, Yonghe King, Hong Zhuang, and Dunkin’ brands.
