Lotteria makes Mongolian debut with new site
Lotte's fast-food chain said it plans to operate up to 10 sites in the country by 2022.
South Korean retail company Lotte's has opened its first Lotteria fast-food chain in Mongolia, Yonhap News Agency has reported.
Located at the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, the launch of new store was made possible through a franchise agreement between Lotte GRS Co. and cinema equipment supplier Eugenetek Mongolia LLC in September last year.
Lotte GRS has said that it plans to operate up to 10 Lotteria outlets in Mongolia by 2022.
Lotteria is one out of six brands in South Korea currently operating under the food affiliate of Lotte, the said country’s fifth-largest conglomerate. Its latest foray into Mongolia was preceded by earlier expansions in seven other countries, including Vietnam, China and Indonesia.
