Myanmar-based Feel International launches debut site in Thailand
This is the company’s first step towards international expansion.
Myanmar-based Feel International is set to make its way to Thailand, after announcing that they will launch their first restaurant in Bangkok.
“At present many restaurants are attempting to cater to the needs of tourists from China, however there are eight flights to Bangkok from Yangon every day, and there are tens of thousands of Myanmar citizens working and studying there, so there is a potential market for Myanmar cuisine,” Feel International operations director Ko Johnny was quoted by the Myanmar Times as saying.
The company also confirmed that their central kitchen is offering training to interested entrepreneurs who want to franchise their restaurants in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
Feel International Group is the biggest restaurant company in Myanmar, handling brands such as Enjoy Garden, Feel Restaurant, Feel Cafe, Feel Express, Lake Front Feel, Mix Restaurant & Bar and Bake with Feel.
