Pretzelmaker launches first store in the Philippines

This is also the pretzel chain’s first entry in the Asian market.

Brand management company Global Franchise Group (GFG) has announced that they launched its first Pretzelmaker in the Philippines through a master franchise agreement with food and beverage brand operator Vavel Foods.

The site in Alabang, Metro Manila offers its signature items such as Pretzel Bites, Pretzel Dogs, dipping sauces and beverages. Exclusively available in their Philippine outlet is their Cream Cheese Stuffed Bites that comes in three flavours: Almond Crunch, Cinnamon Sugar and Garlic Seasoning.

“We decided to open Pretzelmaker in the Philippines because the delicious hand-rolled pretzel products far surpass the competition and we knew customers would love them,” Migo Ochoa, general manager of Pretzelmaker Philippines, said.

“As demonstrated by the success of our Grand Opening, the community is very excited to have a Pretzelmaker at the mall and we are very happy to be providing a new twist on snacking options for busy shoppers.”

Vavel Foods has plans to open 14 more locations in the country.
