
South Korean fried chicken brand Kyochon to enter North America
Last month, it also marked its entry into Taiwan.
South Korean fried chicken Kyochon is expanding its footprints to North America after signing a deal with a local franchisor.
Kyochon plans to open its first store in the region in Vancouver, Canada with a planned 30 more stores in Western Canada over the next five years. The brand is also planning to open a restaurant in Hawaii in the first part of the year.
Last month, Kyochon signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with La Kaffa International Group (La Kaffa) for a master franchise contract to enter the Taiwanese market.
