Starbucks Thailand growth plans to centre on drive-thru formats
It plans to reach 800 outlets by 2030.
Starbucks Thailand is focusing on drive-thru formats in its eight-year plan to reach 800 outlets by 2030.
Nednapa Srisamai, Managing Director of Starbucks Thailand said they plan to reach 480 stores by the end of 2023 and grow to 800 outlet strongs by 2030.
“We continue to invest in Thailand because we are confident in the country’s economy in the long term. Thailand has been a strategic country for Starbucks in Southeast Asia for a long time and we are optimistic about the future of the coffee business here,” Srisamai said.
The global coffee chain’s expansion plans centre on near-doubling its drive-thru formats to 100 from 56. Starbucks said they expect the demand for more drive-thru services will continue in the foreseeable future.
