YKKO launches first franchise restaurant model
YKKO is owned and operated by SGX-ST listed Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd.
SGX-ST listed conglomerate and restaurant operator in Myanmar Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd (Yoma Strategic), has launched the inaugural franchise of its YKKO F&B brand.
According to its press release, the brand is capitalising on its strong presence in Myanmar.

YKKO is a restaurant chain known for serving authentic Kyay Oh (noodle soup) cuisine since 1988. Their noodles are packed with a variety of toppings and meat from pork, chicken, and assortments of seafood. The moniker comes from Yankin Township in Yangon, where the chain's first restaurant is located.
The inaugural YKKO franchise outlets are scheduled to launch in Htauk Kyant, located on the outskirts of Yangon, and Pyay, in the Bago region, by March 2024.
In its last financial statement, Yoma F&B achieved a revenue surged of 33.8% year-on-year to US$8.7m in the three-month ending December 2023.
