Jollibee opens fifth location in Canada
The upcoming store is also the first in the Alberta province.
Jollibee Foods Corporation’s (JFC) namesake brand continues its expansion in Canada, announcing the opening of its first store in the province of Alberta.
The upcoming Edmonton site is also the Philippine fast food chain’s fifth overall location in Canada, as the chain progresses in its goal to open 100 branches in the country over the next five years.
Jollibee recently opened other locations in Winnipeg and the Greater Toronto Area.
In celebration of the brand's introduction to Edmonton, Jollibee will be hosting three exclusive giveaways.
"Since opening locations in Scarborough and Mississauga over the past year, we've been looking forward to serving Edmonton and making it easier for them to satisfy all of their Jollibee cravings,” JFC president for North America Maribeth Dela Cruz said.
Jollibee has more than 200 international branches including in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, Brunei, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Italy, and in the United Kingdom. JFC recently made global headlines following its US$350m acquisition of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
