Jollibee’s sustainability chief takes on new role
He will have a dual role until a permanent appointment can be made.
Fast-casual restaurant chain Smashburger has appointed Jose Miñana Jr as the interim president to replace Carl Bachmann who will be leaving the company on 30 June.
Miñana is the current chief sustainability and public affairs officer for Smashburger’s parent, Jollibee Foods Corporation. He will serve as the prescient until a permanent lead executive has been appointed.
Miñana has over 25 years of experience working for the Jollibee Foods Corporation and has held multiple positions within the global restaurant company. Before being named the chief sustainability and public affairs officer in 2019, Miñana was the group president for Jollibee Foods Corporation's business across the North American continent. Additionally, he spent time leading business development for the global restaurant company's brands in Vietnam and the Philippines.
