Malaysian coffee chain Oriental Kopi to open in Singapore

This will be the first overseas opening for the brand.

Popular Malaysian coffee chain Oriental Kopi will open in Singapore.

In a press release, the Oriental Kopi said it plans to open in the third quarter of 2024. It also plans to open eight outlets within the next three years.

First opened in 2021, Oriental Kopi has 14 outlets and two merchandise stores in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor. The brand is known for its namesake signature item the Oriental Kopi, made with a Nanyang-style brew from a blend of Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans.

The coffee chain is working with Singapore-based restaurant group Paradise Group, marking the Singaporean firms firs joint venture. Paradise Group owns brands such as Beauty In The Pot and Paradise Dynasty.
