South Korean coffee chain Hollys open first outlet in Japan
It operates around 550 outlets in South Korea.
South Korea’s Hollys Coffee has opened its first Japan.
Hollys is a South Korean speciality coffee chain owned and operated by business conglomerate KG Group. Hollys offers espresso, coffee, tea, speciality coffee and tea-based hot and cold drinks, a variety of pastries and other snacks and coffee supplies.
In a company statement, Hollys said it plans to set up a business entity in Japan to open the outlet at the Marui Department Store in Namba, Osaka. The group said it plans to target major Japanese cities.
"The company is planning to open more stores in other major Japanese cities and other countries as well," the statement said.
Hollys first opened in Korea in 1998 and currently has 550 outlets across the country.
