McDonald’s taps Korean girl group for Chicken Dance Campaign
The campaign kicks off in South Korea this June.
McDonald’s has partnered with the Korean girl group NewJeans to launch its Chicken Dance Campaign.
The campaign will kick off in South Korea starting 1 June and continue to the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan until October. Meanwhile, dates for Singapore and Vietnam has yet to be announced.
The campaign will have the NewJeans members, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, to appear on several advertisements and on special packaging for McDonald’s chicken items.
In 2021, McDonald’s embarked on a similar partnership with K-pop boy band BTS to offer the BTS meal in 50 countries.
