
Pizza Hut Malaysia caps ‘The Singing Pizza' campaign with concert
The app has more than 20,000 downloads to date.
Pizza Hut in Malaysia hosted an exclusive concert to cap off their “The Singing Pizza” campaign.
In partnership with Universal Music Malaysia, more than 500 fans were treated to the concert that took place at Bentley Music Auditorium in Petaling Jaya last 19 October.
Malaysian acts during the event included Fazura and Fattah Amin, trilingual singer Alvin Chong, local Mandopop duo ThomasJack, Aman Ra, Shalma Eliana and Zen.
The “Singing Pizza” campaign allows customers to play music on their mobile phones through QR codes seen in their regular pizza boxes and in-store. The playlist features 200 songs, including exclusive unreleased tracks from some of the artists who performed during the concert.
“The campaign integrates digital technology to transform and take the pizza experience up a notch, underpinning our commitment to deliver easy and better pizza experience to Malaysians every single time,” Pizza Hut Malaysia head Loi Liang Tok said.
Two fans during the concert were also announced as the winners of their “Singing Pizza” contest where they will be flying off to Sydney, Australia with Alvin Chong to catch international singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes.
“The Singing Pizza” app currently has more than 20,000 downloads to date.
