Domino's India removes non-vegetarian pizza in the Gujarat state
The move is said to celebrate the Gandhi Jayanti festival.
Domino’s outlets in Gujarat, India have reportedly stopped selling their non-vegetarian pizzas since October 2.
As reported by The Indian Express, the said reason behind the move is the market’s preference on plant-based offerings.
The outlets have banned their non-vegetarian pizzas during the annual Navratri festival season since 2015. The pizza chain made it a permanent decision days before the Hindu festival started.
