KFC Malaysia releases Nasi Kari Atuk for Ramadan
The chain encouraged customers to choose contactless delivery when ordering.
KFC in Malaysia released its ‘Nasi Kari Atuk’ menu, the chain’s latest addition to its roster of Ramadan-themed offerings.
Kari Atuk is a curry made from a blend of traditional spices and coconut milk with potato chunks. The meal is also served with spicy Sambal Atuk — concocted from a anchovy-chili paste.
KFC Malaysia chief marketing officer Angelina Villanueva said Malaysians will be experiencing a new and different way of observing Ramadan this year.
“We hope that the familiar taste of Nasi Kari Atuk will bring some joy and comfort as you break-fast. For greater ease and convenience, order online for delivery or self-collect where you can select date and time or pre-order in advance for breaking fast,” she said.
KFC also encouraged its customers to choose its ‘contactless delivery’ to get orders sent straight to their homes, or ‘contactless self-collect’ for take-away orders.
Due to the ongoing movement control order period in the country, the last order will be at 7pm and timings may vary depending on respective state regulations.
