Vietnam's King Coffee to launch 1,000 cafés nationwide
The new coffee concept looks to conquer the domestic market and expand abroad.
Trung Nguyen International, the overseas branch of Vietnamese coffee giant Trung Nguyen Group, has announced its plans to launch 1,000 sites of its new King Coffee brand nationwide.
VnExpress reports that Trung Nguyen co-founder Le Hoang Diep Thao said that new cafés would be the stepping stones to conquer the domestic market and expand abroad to foreign markets like the U.S., China and Singapore through franchising agreements.
The first King Coffee was recently launched in Gia Lai Province. If deemed successful, the new model is expected to be applied to all 80 existing Trung Nguyen cafés.
The company plans to have 100 coffee houses across the country by the end of 2018.
