McDonald’s Indonesia halts large fries sales due to supply disruptions
This follows similar announcements in Japan and Malaysia.
McDonald’s announced that they are limiting the sales of their French fries due to supply shortage.
“Due to the limited availability of french fries at this time, the Large French Fries will be temporarily unavailable starting Feb. 2. But don’t worry McD’ers, you can still enjoy your favorite menu item with the Medium French Fries,” McDonald’s Indonesia wrote in a tweet (as translated by Coconuts).
The french fries are only available in small and medium sizes nationwide for the time being, the company said.
Indonesia is the latest market where the fast food giant has been forced to take the large french fries off their menu, following similar announcements in Japan and Malaysia.
