
Paris Baguette opens its first Halal food hub in Malaysia
The hub will strengthen the brand’s global supply chain for Halal bakery products.
International bakery brand Paris Baguette opened its first Halal food hub in Johor, Malaysia, a move to strengthen the brand’s global supply chain whilst catering to the demand for Halal bakery products worldwide.
The Paris Baguette Regional Halal Food Hub in Johor represents an RM260m ($58.84m) investment and includes seven advanced production lines capable of producing 100 million bakery products per year. The facility’s strict Halal certification ensures the highest standards in food production.
The hub is said to benefit from Malaysia’s strategic location within the JS-SEZ, offering seamless connectivity to both local and international markets
The opening of the new hub was graced by YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, the Menteri Besar of Johor, Yeo Seung-bae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Malaysia, and Hur Young In, Chairman of SPC Group, the owner and operator of Paris Baguette.
