Chatime Taiwan stores to evolve into ‘PokéStops and Gyms’

The popular drink concept partnered with Pokémon GO.

Chatime Taiwan, a specialty drink brand, will make its stores into PokéStops and Gyms, following its partnership with AR game, Pokemon GO.

In an announcement, the beverage brand and Pokemon GO said Pokemon GO trainers can visit "Chatime locations to catch Pokémon, gather Game items, and participate in raids and Gym battles" whilst consuming their Chatime drinks on the go.

“Please be aware of your surroundings and follow guidelines from local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO. Upcoming events are subject to change. Be sure to check the Niantic blog and the Pokémon GO website for more updates,” read the statement.

Aside from Chatime Taiwan, Chatime UK also rolled out the game in its stores this month.

Following UK and Taiwan stores, Chatime Canada will launch the partnership in September 2022. Chatime Malaysia will roll out the game in November 2022 whilst Chatime Australia will open the game in its stores in January next year.
