
Monthly rate of South Koreans dining out declines in 2018, survey says
The monthly average spending also went down by ₩11,000 (US$9.84).
South Koreans dined out at an average of 20.8 times a month last 2018, slightly lesser compared to 2017’s 21.8 according to a survey by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.
As reported by Yonhap News Agency, restaurant visits were at 13.7 times a month while the rest represented the frequency of takeout or delivered meals.
Consumer spending also reduced by around ₩11,000 (US$9.84) per month to ₩292,689 (US$260.40).
