Deliveroo Singapore to organise first aid training courses

The initiative will happen on April 26.

Deliveroo Singapore announced that it will provide a series of first aid training courses to its riders in partnership with the Singapore Red Cross Society next week.

The food delivery company explained that the free training is part of its goal in giving riders experience and skills to help in case of emergencies in their delivery areas.

Latest statistics indicate that the Singapore Civil Defence Force handles up to 500 emergency calls every day whilst an ambulance can take up to 15 minutes to arrive on scene.

The training was first conducted in the UK with the British Red Cross and has been rolled out to other Asia Pacific markets like Hong Kong.
