Tam Jai International (TJI) granted over $205k (HK$1.6m) in scholarships to 49 students this year, the highest number since the launch of its “TJI Education Support Scheme for Employees’ Children,” which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The scheme includes the year-long “GAME Changer” programme, launched in 2024, which aims to support employees’ children through grants, mentorship, guidance, and practical experience.

Staff from various divisions serve as mentors, helping students develop skills and gain exposure to the workplace.

Final-year students took part in workshops covering job application techniques and personality assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses and received formal reference letters to support their job searches.

As part of the scheme, scholarship recipients also completed 72-hour internships at TJI restaurants.
