McDonald’s unveils first solar powered restaurant in Singapore
The panels power 20% of the restaurant's energy needs.
McDonald’s Singapore has refurbished one of its restaurants to be the first solar-powered McDonald’s in the country.
According to the fast-food brand’s social media post, the restaurant is powerd by 101 solar panels that contribute to 20% of the restaurant’s power needs.
The restaurant’s walls are also designed with Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene, which helps save energy whilst providing insulation and light energy by allowing 90% to 95% light transmission.
McDonald’s did not mention which branch the store was however fans were quick to point out that the restaurant is located at Choa Chu Kang Park.
