Afuri opens first store in Singapore
The Japanese ramen chain was founded in 2001.
Japan Foods-backed Afuri has officially opened its first outlet in Singapore, located at Funan mall.
Apart from its signature yuzu ramens, the chain’s expanded menu will have small plates options as well as gyoza (dumplings).
Named after Mount Afuri in Japan, the chain was established in 2001, then known as Zund-Bar, at the foot of the said mountain.
It changed its name to Afuri in 2003, and now has 15 outlets worldwide.
