Jumbo Seafood opens new store in Singapore
This marks as their 17th branch across Asia, following an opening in China.
Jumbo Group has announced that they have opened a new site in Ion Orchard, which is the first outlet they opened in Singapore in the past ten years.
5,400 sq ft site has 160 seatings that includes 4 VIP rooms, accommodating 12 customers each. The group also mentioned that they intend to launch 1 Jumbo Seafood, 1 Teochew cuisine and 2 more Cha Chaan Teng outlets in the island-nation.
“While our efforts in the last 5 years have been focused in bringing our brand and sharing Singapore’s heritage dishes to other parts of the region,” Ang Kiam Meng, group CEO and executive director of Jumbo group, said.
“[W]e are constantly on the look-out for good locations to expand our JUMBO Seafood network of restaurants in Singapore, and we believe that we have found an ideal location in ION Orchard.”
Last October they launched the seventh Jumbo Seafood in China.
