Mana opens largest store in Hong Kong
The brand positions the SoHo outlet as a “fast social” location.
Hong Kong plant-based restaurant chain MANA! opened its latest store in SoHo, its largest in the region.
Located on 8 Staunton Street, the over 2,500 square feet outlet features a main restaurant and “Zen Den” social space, where the chain will offer special events, including movie screenings & concerts, “hippie hour” happenings, and morning “mindfulness” sessions.
Touted as a “fast social” location, the concept claims to introduce Hong Kong’s first vegan cheese deli, featuring plant-based versions of Brie, Baby Bleu, ZAATAR-infused Chèvre and other handmade variants.
MANA! SoHo also features a selective organic beer, booze and kombucha bar, custom-built in-house recycling and compost bins, which turn over four tonnes of food scraps and all of its compostable packaging into soil compost every month, as well as its signature “free water for all” fountain.
“MANA! SoHo is not only our largest plant-based & zero-waste destination yet, but is a labour of love that we’ve created for our growing community,” MANA! founder Bobsy Gaia said in a media release.
