The Coffee Club makes Vietnam debut
This is now the chain’s 10th international market.
The Coffee Club is now opened its first location in Vietnam, almost a year after a joint venture with private equity firm Vietnam Investments Group was announced.
Located in Ho Chi Minh, the restaurant-style format looks to cater to locals and travellers with a relaxed atmosphere and a menu balancing The Coffee Club’s staples and local Asian dishes.
“Our menu in Vietnam is unique to this country. Customers will enjoy a mix of our international signature drinks and dishes with locally inspired favourites,” Minor DKL Food Group CEO Nick Bryden said.
The Australian brand sees potential in the market, where they previously expressed plans to open 100 stores in the country for the next five years. In a separate interview with QSR Media, Bryden says the chain’s overarching goal is to reach 1,000 total stores within five years.
The Coffee Club is currently Australia’s largest home-grown cafe group, serving approximately 40 million customers in more than 500 stores.
