Ediya Coffee launches 3,000th store
The Korean coffee chain opened its first store in Seoul in 2001.
Ediya Coffee has launched its 3,000th store in Daejeon.
According to Hankyung, the coffee chain has opened at least 300 stores each year for the past six years.
The report also noted that Ediya Coffee’s 2019 operating profit was at KRW 17.6bn (US$14.9m) whilst estimated revenues were at KRW 800bn (US$680.4m).
Ediya had recently appointed ex-Hyundai executive Kim Nam-yeob as vice president for the chain’s business management division and ex-SPC Group executive Shin Yoo-ho as vice president for the chain’s marketing development business.
Ediya Coffee opened its first store in Seoul in 2001.
