Jumbo Group opens first NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Taiwan
The new site is located in Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (Xin Yi) Mall.
Jumbo Group has opened its first Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh franchise restaurant in Taiwan.
Located in Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (Xin Yi) Mall inside the commercial district near Taipei 101, the restaurant will be serving its flavors in its outlet that has a total floor space of 1,400 sq ft alongside a seating capacity of 86 seats.
Under a franchise agreement, Ho Sing has committed to open at least 20 NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh outlets in Taiwan. In December 2017, Ho Sing also brought the first Jumbo Seafood brand into the country.
“The introduction of NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh to Taiwan marks a key milestone for the Group and is testament to the group’s growing presence in the Asian consumer market,” Jumbo Group CEO and executive director Ang Kiam Meng said.
Earlier this month, Jumbo Group entered a into a franchise agreement with C J Seafood Co., allowing the latter to establish and operate one of their restaurants in Thailand.
The brand has four outlets in Singapore which are located at Rangoon Road, Chui Huay Lim Club, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and Resorts World Sentosa.
