
Jumbo Seafood inks franchise agreement to make debut in Thailand
The first site in Bangkok is expected to launch by the end of the year.
Jumbo Seafood has announced that it has entered a into a franchise agreement with C J Seafood Co., allowing the latter to establish and operate one of their restaurants in Thailand.
The seafood restaurant chain said the grand opening of their first site in Bangkok will be at the end of 2018.
"With this newest foray into another country, the Group continues to expand and strengthen its presence in Asia," the group said in their announcement.
Jumbo previously established franchises in Vietnam and Taiwan in 2016 and 2017 respectively, making Thailand their third franchise outpost in the region.
The franchise agreement has an initial term of 10 years and may be renewed for a further 10 years, as determined by the Jumbo Group of Restaurants.
