KFC targets to have 70 stores in Myanmar by 2024

The chicken chain wants to have more stores outside the country’s largest city.

KFC is aiming to have opened more than 70 stores in Myanmar by the fiscal year 2023-2024, The Myanmar Times has reported.

Their most recent opening in Pyay last September marked as their 26th store in the country, following their Monywa store last August. The chain also have presences in the cities of Yangon, Mandalay, Taunggyi and Bago.

The expansion will be lead by the brand’s local franchise holder Yoma Strategic.
