Korean sandwich brand Eggdrop opens flagship store in Bangkok

This is the first global branch of the chain.

Korean sandwich chain Eggdrop has opened its flagship store in Siam, Bangkok, Thailand, making it its first global branch for the chain.

Throughout the weekend, including the opening day on December 17, 2022, Bangkok's MZ generation consumers, influencers, food bloggers, and local media visited the EGGDROP Thailand Bangkok store. Customers enjoyed signature sandwiches such as Mr. EGG, Garlic Bacon Cheese, Avo Bacon Korean Toast.

Around 2,000 people were estimated to have visited on the first two days.

Eggdrop started its first store in 2017 and completed opening its 290th store in Korea in 2022. The chain said it has received several franchise inquiries in more than 30 countries including the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and India.
