Papa John's opens first store in Kazakhstan
The pizza chain has another store set to open in the country by October.
Papa John’s launched their new store in Almaty, Kazakhstan last August 27, marked as their first outlet in the country.
The said opening is the first of their plan to launch 16 restaurants in the country. They also said that they will continue to expand in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
"We are excited about establishing and expanding the Papa John's pizza brand in Kazakhstan. We believe that our passion for better ingredients will transfer well to Almaty and beyond and our new customers will love our quality pizza," Christopher Wynne, co-owner and CEO of Papa John’s Western, said.
The pizza chain has 181 outlets in Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Poland and is currently operating in 46 countries internationally.
