Sukiya to open second Hong Kong outlet

The chain aims to open up to more restaurants in the city this year.

Sukiya has opened their second outlet in Hong Kong, located in Whampoa’s Fashion World shopping mall.

The move comes months after the Japanese fast food chain made its city debut last December when it opened its then-24-hour outlet in Mong Kok.

Sukiya, which has about 2,000 outlets in Japan, is known for its gyudon (beef rice bowls), yakitori (fried chicken), Japanese curry and eel rice. It also has restaurants in China, Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico.
