Texas Chicken Malaysia opens first site in Johor State
This is the brand’s 48th restaurant in the country.
Texas Chicken makes its way to the southern region of Malaysia with its newest restaurant in Johor State’s City Square Shopping Mall.
Managed by local franchisee Envictus International Holdings Limited (Envictus Group), the brand’s 48th site in Malaysia is expected to fit 111 guests at one time with the size of 1,123 square feet.
More sites for the Southern Peninsula are in the pipeline, with an opening in Southkey Mid-Valley Megamall.
"The Johor Bahru City Square is the kind of location every restaurant dreams of. The new Texas Chicken will be right in the heart of the city, close to corporate offices, local and international colleges, and just minutes from the customs and immigration checkpoint between Malaysia and Singapore," Envictus International Holdings chairman Dato’ Jaya Tan explained.
Envictus Group also operates multiple Texas Chicken restaurants in Malaysia's Klang Valley, Selangor, Penang, and Negeri Sembilan regions.
